Wedding in Emporia Kansas by Photos Edge
Sam and Michelle’s Theatrical wedding
A theatrical wedding in Emporia Kansas at the Granada Theater, with a marquee that read “Wedding of the Century”! Sam and Michelle made sure it was. The wedding was quite romantic. With old colors and lively music taking us into an oasis from the movie Moulin Rouge.
Michelle got ready in a beautiful room with large windows that opened up on Commercial St. in Emporia, Kansas. Her friends were having a great time above the marquee, laughing and sharing stories.
The ceremony was soon underway. And the words were unique, special for the couple. Each guest, laughed and cried. As the Theater lights danced off the gold molding and the red satin fabric hung to the stage, the spot lights focused in on two people in love. The grooms sister was the officiant, while the brother of the bride played the guitar and sang. Every word carefully crafted for the couple.
As the night moved along the guests were entertained with fun props. A family gnome found it’s way into several photos. And the uniquely fun choreographed flash-mob entrance for the bride and groom. The marquee was right Wedding of the Century rang true for this couple.
