Laughter echoed down the hallways of the firestone building. Immediately I knew this was going to be a wonderful Kansas City wedding. Marco smiled at me as I walked faster down the hall. I was so excited to photograph this wedding, my smile got bigger and bigger as I approached the door. As I opened the door a slumber party emerged: Mimosas, matching robes, girls putting on each others make up, dresses lined up full of sequins, and a pillow fight. It was like John Hughes had scripted the perfect wedding.
The dashing groom waited patiently down the hall, in his military blues, for his stunning bride. Steven beamed when he saw Megan and he couldn’t wait to kiss her.
They are the best of friends. She is completely enamored with her solider and he is her loving protector. They held each other for a while and in those few moments time stopped. It was quiet, the sun shining on their faces as his dress blues reflected onto the wall. No matter the distance between them, their love has no limits.
You two have a very special relationship, it is beautiful and inspiring. Thank you for allowing us to capture your love and tell your story. It is quite the celebration of love!

Giant smiles, a little laughter, and a few big tears filled the dressing rooms at the Firestone Building, for a stunning Kansas City Wedding. Both the bride and the groom had the same reaction. The moment they saw themselves the wedding became real.
In a few short hours Martin would become Geony’s husband. The two couldn’t have been more excited to marry one another. You could feel the tension rise at Country Club Christian Church, right before Geony walked down the isle. It seemed as thought the whole church held their breath in amazement, joy, and love for this couple. They chose to see each other for the first time walking down the isle. Martin smiled, Geony beamed, but the best part of them seeing each other during the ceremony was actually at the end. A big sigh, and exuberant joy was expressed as they were announced, “the two have been joined as one… You may kiss your bride”. That was the moment. Right there! Martin looked at Geony, the way all movies portray the perfect love story. For a split second, time stopped.
Thank you to Martin and Geony for letting us in and trusting us to capture not only the way your wedding looked, but also the passion and love that you have for each other. We hope you enjoy your wedding photography for years to come.
