Kansas City Engagement Photography
Kansas City Photographers | Photos Edge
She held my coffee gently as I took a photo that was destined for Pinterest. A perfect Mocha and a lovely heart shaped design carefully crafted. Moments later Marco brought two cups of coffee and cream for Kelsey and Brian to have. I stood there outside of Quay coffee in the River Market of Kansas City, with camera in hand photographing them in between delicious sips. We chatted about artists, college, costume shops, and our favorite café which will always be 3 fools. Brian, our soon be groom, was a founding member and one of the 3 fools. Needless to say Brian is an excellent chef.
This Kansas City Engagement session started out chill and fun. I wanted Kelsey and Brian, who had come down from Minneapolis, to be themselves. We relaxed with a more lifestyle engagement session, focusing on genuine smiles and creating great moments. Marco and I were happy to include their pup.
As we were wrapping up our coffee photo shoot, we giggled at how hipster this all was. I chose my favorite coffee shop and they happened to match the sailor theme. It was perfect without anyone trying too hard. The truth is, this couple was just being themselves. These are the people that hipsters try to become. Years from now Kelsey and Brian will still be artistic and cool and chill in all the right ways.
Their success blows me away. I love watching artist succeed! Kelsey, who is designing her own wedding gown, has always left me in awe with her creations. She is a fantastic designer and I can’t wait for their wedding this weekend!
Congratulations! Marco and I are excited!!!
Please share this session if you found it as cute as I did!
I love the images. Now I’m going to get a coffee. And maybe find a sweet love. Amazing photography.
Thank you Jewels! Your love is out there! Maybe you will meet them in a coffee shop. 🙂
These are absolutely amazing! And what a beautiful couple 🙂
Thank you Ben! We think they are something special too! 😉
