Chris and Jeannine’s Urban Engagement Session
Bold and Colorful Kansas City Engagement by Photos Edge
The session was wonderful, and as my car broke down after the great session my heart sank. There we were, all four of us on the 12th street bridge at 4:30pm anticipating rush hour to hit. Marco and I for the first time had car trouble. We made a few phone calls to get help but we also had to push back the photo shoot that followed Chris and Jeannine’s. I was a nervous reck. I felt like my whole life and all of my problems were unfolding in front of my clients. And here I am admitting to it and sharing it on the web, it’s like showing my dirty laundry to the world. I am not perfect. Even though I truly wish that I was.
I was a ballerina for several years and a competitive gymnast even longer. In fact one time the olympics seemed possible. Why I am sharing this? If you haven’t guessed already, I strive to be the best that I can be. So when my car broke down, while pushing back tears as another couple expressed how disappointed they were in me because I couldn’t make it to their location fast enough, I had Chris and Jeannine sitting in their car making sure that I was ok. They waited with us until we got something figured out and were safe. Their understanding and compassion made me fall head over heals for them. They were wonderful. They are the reason I love my job. Even in my toughest spot when it was an inconvenience for them, they stayed and helped with no judgement. Lets face it, we all run into problems. For me, this was huge. I am about to publish their wedding today. And I am happy to say that we gifted 10 additional pages to their album because they are that awesome. Thank you Chris and Jeannine. You will forever have a place in our hearts. Enjoy the beautiful session!
